Why ask Treatment Solutions Network for Substance Abuse Help?

There are LOTS of options out there for substance abuse help - so many that some individuals and families may feel overwhelmed. The worst thing that could happen is that the search for a rehab facility becomes such an arduous task that you end up throwing your hands in the air and giving up.

Working with a Treatment Solutions Network takes the guesswork out of finding addiction treatment, at no cost to you. Our treatment consultants aren't paid by any particular drug rehab center - we're not in this business to "sell" anything. We share the gift of recovery because it's the right thing to do, and it saves lives. Some of our senior staff members are themselves in addiction recovery, and a spirit of attentiveness and compassion guides everything we do.

From location to price to the program structure/amenities you need, Treatment Solutions Network will guide you through all of the particulars - so that you can make informed, hassle-free decisions about where to get help.

Remember, you're not alone

Addiction to drugs or alcohol affects some 23 million Americans, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Sadly, most don't seek help for their disease. What happens to untreated substance abuse? There's plenty of overcrowded jail cells and expensive emergency rooms where you'll find the answer to that question. There's also lots of grieving families that will tell you about a father, sister or other loved one who lost their life to drug abuse, and is now sorely missed.

At the same time, there are countless stories - some of which you can read here - of addicts who have conquered their affliction, and are now leading healthy, happy lives. Substance abuse is a disease, but with the right medical care, it DOESN'T have to be a death sentence. Don't think for a moment that your addiction problem is too out-of-control, or has been going on for too many years, to be effectively treated. Whatever your situation, our treatment consultants have seen worse. But more importantly, we've also seen those worst-case addicts get better - and if they can do it, so can you.

Angie's story

Angie, a recovering addict living in Alabama, told her story to the Mobile Register. Once a healthy cheerleader in school, Angie's years of cocaine addiction took a severe physical toll.

"My stomach perforated, it just blew up. And I wound up in the hospital for a month on a morphine pump, " she said. "And when I got out, I was addicted to pain medication."

For 10 years, Angie was in and out of doctors' office, trying to get prescriptions. When doctors finally turned her away, Angie began using Dilaudid, a synthetic form of heroin. She contracted a serious staph infection in her arms that almost forced doctors to amputate.

"I was living in my car, and then finally chose to go live in the streets," she said. "I didn't know there was a way out."

Angie's family refused to give up hope, and one Christmas they offered Angie the present of a drug rehab stay. She accepted, and experienced a remarkable turnaround.

Angie returned to school and resumed her education, and found a new career. She now works as an addiction counselor, helping others find victory over the same battles she faced.

"My life has never been the same," she said.
