Sunrise Detox

Sunrise Detox operates as a free-standing detoxification and substance abuse treatment facility, with locations in Palm Beach, Florida and the New Jersey, New York metro area.

Sunrise detox facilites offer both private and semi-private rooms; inviting lounge areas with wide-screen HDTV; digital cable; an enclosed courtyard where clients can smoke ; Sunrise Detox is a licensed buprenorphine medical detox center and most guests going through detox for heroin or opiate pain medication (e.g. Oxycontin, Percocet and Vicodin) will be given buprenorphine.

Sunrise Detox believes in creating a different, more dignified experience. There are no locked doors and although the process is a medical detox, the accommodations feel more like home than a cold, antiseptic hospital. Clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms with plenty of space for personal belongings. Individuals are not required to wear uncomfortable hospital gowns and during the detox process and have easy access to in-house laundry facilities.

Good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. Alcoholism and drug addiction can often leave individuals with varying degrees of malnutrition, so Sunrise provides a full-service on-site gourmet kitchen that serves a diverse menu of nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.

The Detox services at Sunrise Detox are covered by a number of health insurance plans. Any questions about insurance coverage or financial arrangements can be answered by contacting us. We can also help in arranging affordable self-payment plans at the facility.

"While checked into inpatient treatment you will have all the luxuries of being at home with an easy to follow program towards recovery. There are scheduled daily activities, including group therapy and meetings, which are specifically designed to give our guests a huge support system while going through drug or alcohol detox. The schedule is not so hectic that guests are overwhelmed, nor is it so relaxed that it becomes boring. Sunrise Detox is not a hospital or a psychiatric ward, so our guests are not locked in: We see our clients as our guests, and treat them as such."

Arrival and Admission

Upon arrival, the Sunrise Detox staff will conduct a brief personal medical history followed by a full psych-social assessment. This is designed to fully understand the individual needs of the client. After you have been admitted to our program, the Medical Director and Nursing staff will begin to design a detox protocol for your stay with us. The admissions process is designed to be stress free and efficient. We understand the beginning of the treatment process is not easy. That is why Sunrise Detox is one of our trusted detox facilities. They offer a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment right from the start.
