Florida House ExperienceThe Florida House Experience is a full service chemical dependency treatment facility specializing in co-occuring disorders.

The Florida House Experience is licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and is CARF accredited. Their approach to treatment is based on a long term model that is more effective than the standard 28-day "Florida model" of treatment. Their belief is that recovery is not only possible, but more successful following a long term, multiple phase, treatment plan. Medically monitored detox combined with realistic, personalized supervision provides an opportunity for individuals to gradually transition to lower levels of care. Residents remain in the care of Sunlight Recovery, residing on their campus from anywhere between one month and and two years. The commitment to continuity of quality care is reflected in the long term model approach to treatment and graduating alumni are a testament to the success of this unique approach.

The Florida House Experience can therefore be termed an all encompassing recovery experience that offers a complete and comprehensive array of clinical services and care. Whether you or your loved one needs anything from medically supervised detox and/or psychiatric care, to a serene residential recovery facility, The Florida House Experience has it all. Treatment options include: day/night treatment, intensive outpatient, outpatient, transitional living and sober living. Upon completion of the long term program residents can choose to live off campus in graduate housing while still socially engaged in the sober community of Sunlight Recovery.

All programs, services and residences are located on a beautiful 3 acre campus-style environment which is completely self-sufficient. Every resident enjoys the peace of mind of knowing that all the treatment programs are handled on-site and in-house. The treatment team remains consistent from admission to discharge. This assures that the integrity of the program remains true to our vision and commitment to your recovery, providing quality, long term care at an affordable price.
